How do you do it? Love the cover of your book and would love to read it. I'm an author too, writing Mennonite fiction which falls under the Amish fiction category. My favorite thing this summer was a trip to Galveston Island. We stayed in a beach house and got to play with the grandchildren in the sand. A wonderful memory. What I don't look forward to is the heat. It's still 109 here in Phoenix. The hottest August on record! So mostly, I'm looking forward to autumn now. Blessings! Hopefully, this week now that my favorite farmer's stand is in town. Watching my veggie garden grow and harvesting the biggest tomatoes I've grown in my two years of having a veggie garden. I look forward to a veggie garden each summer and it seems to get bigger for the next summer. I also look forward to more reading out back of the house when the sun has gone down and is cooler in the evening (with bug spray!!) I look forward to tasting the first sweet corn of the summer. YAHOO!! Can hardly wait. We plan to visit Shipshewana and that area. Are staying in a B and B in Middlesburg in the heart of Amish farmland. The next door neighbor has offered to take us for a buggy ride and tour. Last year we went to Holmes County Ohio, and every Sept. we visit Paradise, PA for a week. We love the Amish- their faith , peacefulness and forgiveness is unbelievable. Sooo, we drive from our home in Canada every year trying to find a different Amish spot to visit. Excited??? YES!
